Suntec has a wide range of heat treatment machines using ceramic resistances and infrared panels methods, divided in two big families:

• LOW TENSION heat treatment machines: IHR 10,5/1 - Compact series
• NETWORK TENSION heat treatment machines: R3/R6 EVO - ROCK series

IHR 10,5/1 (LOW TENSION) is a portable inverter heater unit for preheating and PWHT, one channel where can be connected up to 4 ceramic heating elements (24-60V 45A) and an integrated recording unit for thermal cycles (https://suntec.it/en/lq-project/ihr-series/ )

Compact series (LOW TENSION) are machines with different powers between 27 and 110KVA and the quantity of independent outputs variable between 3-6-12: this wide range allows customers to choose the most suitable machine according to their needs. Compact series is available in two different versions: 

• COMPACT-VT: variable tension 0÷90V : the machine automatically regulates the outgoing current on heating elements according to their size and tension
• COMPACT: fixed tension 45 or 90V (or 32,5V – 65V according to the model) : the machine works with only two types of heating elements

EVO series (NETWORK TENSION) are portable resistance machines with 3 or 6 independent outputs where can be connected one heating element for each output with variable tensions between 40V and 400V with power up to 20KVA.

VPR PROGRAMMER AND RECORDER UNIT
Each machine of Compact and EVO series is equipped with a digital touch screen video graphic programmer/recorder “all in one” with the following characteristics:
• TFT 7” touch screen display, 800x480 pixel
with backlighting
• Degrees °C or °F
• Thermal cycle set up
• 8GB recorded cycles memory
• Recorded cycles download on USB key
• Status alarm (High and low temperature, interrupted thermocouple)
• Multilanguage
• Integrated instruction manual
• Protection Degree IP65

Suntec heat treatment machines employ DIODE SCR technology for the outgoing power control and they are standardly equipped with a digital touchscreen video graphic programmer/recorder VPR and the download of thermal cycles is done by USB key.

ROCK SERIES (NETWORK TENSION) are heat treatment machines from 360KVA up to 1010KVA.

Suntec has also a range of induction heating machines: INTI SERIES

INTI SERIES includes induction heating machines with different powers (40 - 60 -80 – 150 KVA) suitable for preheating, PWHT, shrinking, unshrinking and coating. These machines are available with two types of configuration :

• air cooled (mostly used for rapid and low temperature preheating)
• water- cooled (mostly used for long and high temperature pre-heating).

They can be used with different kind of inductors according to the application.

We have various solutions which can be applied in different sectors. For example:

PIPELINE: rigid and/or openable clamp coils which can be used both for preheating and coating operations  

WIND TOWER:  “paddle inductor” which is used for the preheating of big rotating pieces

Suntec has developed a special solution to be applied during the construction of offshore and onshore wind turbine towers.

It is a particular and simple induction system with a specific "paddle" inductor for the controlled preheating before welding of big rotating shells which allows a faster, safer, more effective and accurate preheating instead of using open-flame.
