The Sunke range covers AC, as well as MFDC and Variable Frequency (MFAC) with inverters of up to 6000A capacity. The controls are used globally in the automotive industry.
MFAC is new technology and is showing improved weld results and electrode life when compared with conventional MFDC.
The open laser was developed primarily for precise laser welding work on large pieces. The mold & die and plastic injection industries can save thousands of dollars by repairing their pieces instead of replacing them. The Orion open laser allows for those laser welding repairs. From it’s generator to the fiber optic output, the Orion open makes fast work of shaping and adding metal to worn or damaged areas on pieces as large as 1000x1000mm. Mounted on an articulating arm, the Orion open laser can easily move to a position needed to make the repairs. The power range is impressive as it is adjustable from 0.1 to 200 joules.
The Orion LZR100 laser welder is a powerful benchtop machine with technological and engineering features that surpass other larger laser welders. This small laser welder can run at a higher duty cycle than it’s competitors and does so at a far lower cost and smaller footprint than any other in the market. Most importantly, you’ll be astounded by the professional results! All of the Orion LZR laser welders need only 550mm W x 610mm D x 450mm H of workspace and weigh less than 100 pounds; they’re easy to move and set up, easy to use and easy to maintain.
The Sunstone Linear DC welder is a completely unique resistance welding system with closed-loop feedback. Utilizing new patent pending technologies, the Linear DC welder has the power of a High-Frequency Inverter and the precision of a Linear DC. As mentioned, this is a completely unique product. It isn’t an HF welder since it does not require an external transformer, and it isn’t like typical Linear DC welders because it doesn’t use transistors to control the energy output. Yet, this product is able to perform the same functions as both of these technologies, and in most cases it has capabilities that exceed those of other HF or Linear DC welders – offering high repetition rates, fine low-energy control, and short or long weld times – without any of the drawbacks and inconveniences.
The CD200 dual pulse fine-spot resistance welders by Sunstone are capacitive discharge welders that provide the ideal resistance spot welding equipment. The 200 watt second fine-spot resistance welders provide ample power for a large spectrum of applications, including battery pack manufacturing, at an affordable price. The welders’ dual pulse feature aids in the welding process. The first pulse heats the weld area to eliminate contaminants and then seats the weld electrodes. The second pulse is a higher energy weld that performs a clean, strong weld. Both pulses occur within milli-seconds.
PW has been manufacturing these in our Shanghai factory for several years. Working with either local robot motors or with the Tolomatic system from the USA, PW guns are working widely in the mainstream automotive industry.
Providing high weld forces and rapid operation, servo guns are very energy efficient, costing much less to run as they require no compressed air.
The Orion 250i2 (Patent D740,338) is packed with features that will simplify the welding needs of any jeweler, goldsmith, or silversmith. Innovative new features include: the new Pico weld mode for intricate welds as small as 0.01 Joules of energy, to achieve truly microscopic weld joints; user selectable up to 250 joules of energy for large silver or platinum pieces; a large 10” touch screen interface with one-touch access to all welding parameters; the ultimate space saving design; and 3 unique pulse shape wave form options to choose from: Classic Orion (for Orion users that have come to love welds produced by the Orion 150i), Triangle (for weld smoothing), and Square (laser like welding). The Orion 250i2 also introduces a patented feature—Seam mode—a revolutionary breakthrough in micro pulse arc welding. Seam mode allows users to mimic laser welding with weld speeds up to 30 welds/sec. The patented Orion 250i2 is a full-featured, precision welder with the speed of a laser, paired with the versatility, power, and ease of pulse arc welding.
The Orion Nano Engravers were developed by incorporating the research and innovations of the Engraver series but with a goal of offering a high quality laser at a more affordable price.
Similar to the Engraver series, the Nano products are also built using a ytterbium-doped fiber optics and offer the same low environmental impact and low maintenance (up to 50,000 working hours).
They can be used on any metal to engrave text, photographs, logos, and markings. The maximum marking area ranges from 65x65mm to 180x180mm depending on the lens. The standard lens offers a 110x110mm working area with a resolution of 20μm.
The machine is small, with a fully accessible working chamber thanks to the absence of closures and hatches. There are two available models with either 10W or 20W of maximum output power. Maneuvering pieces and configuring setups is very fast and easy, however, unlike the Engraver series, the z-axis is not motor driven and must be adjusted manually. To help position the z-axis appropriately, the engraver machine has an innovative and intuitive focusing system with overlapping laser pointers. The engraver can also be equipped with a video camera for optimization of the processing, and for possible remote assistance.
Software is included with these engravers. The software is capable of importing files from commonly-used computer design programs such as svg, dxf, bmp, plt, jpg, dwg, and others. The software makes it easy to perform any job from engraving an image, engraving text on the inside of a ring, engraving a custom design on a bangle, to marking and cutting custom shaped objects.
The WH1 pneumatic opposed weld heads offer precision and repeatability at an affordable price. The WH1 weld heads offer opposed weld electrodes and are ideal for general fine spot opposed resistance welding. The standard electrode size is 0.125″ diameter (WH1125 model), but if required the weld head can be upgraded to accept 0.250″ diameter electrodes (WH1250 model). Once connected, these weld heads can be adjusted for your particular application. The weld head’s electrodes pressure can be adjusted to ensure a strong weld. Head travel height ranges from 0 to 140mm.
The WH1 pneumatic opposed weld heads are air actuated weld heads that require an air compressor. Any size compressor will work since the weld head comes equipped with a pressure regulator. Once connected, the air pressure and head travel speed can be set to any preference. Welds are quickly and easily made with each compression of the included foot pedal switch.
Our ultrasonic welders use ultrasonic energy to perform various bonding & cutting functions such as metal joining, resin welding, resin melt cutting, resin cutting, and even food cutting. The basic components of our ultrasonic welding systems consist of an ultrasonic generator unit (power supply) and a welder main unit (weld head / press).
By applying ultrasonic vibration and force to the objects to be joined, welding is achieved by utilizing the heat generated at the boundary surface of the objects.
All PW spot welders are built to last. Large transformers allow high production duty cycles and rigid frames minimise deflection. Rocker arm units for light duty work and machines with direct acting cylinders for faster response and higher weld quality.
All welders above 30kVA can be supplied with a range of controls, from the simple analogue to the sophisticated Sun18 and 20, delivering all the top end control features required in high quality production environments.
The EV Copper Tab Battery Welding brags an all new design and performance. This latest update takes all of the great features from our previous model and adds to it a new motorized weld head adding greater control, precision, and uniformity to every weld. Manufacturers can produce lighter, more compact battery packs without compromising power or capacity.
One of the biggest challenges when EV Copper Tab Battery Welding is finding a welder capable of welding highly conductive metals such as copper and aluminum. Inside a lithium-ion battery are various copper and/or aluminum components that carry the electrical current (such as buss bars). These components are commonly joined to either similar or dissimilar materials to facilitate the electric current. If the joint is not made properly, there is a potential for voltage drops.
The PW AC welders, used with hand weld guns, are ideal for welding steel and stainless steel filter meshes. Using the hand roll spot wheels, seam joints can be quickly applied.
Using the sinlge spot electrode, a wide variety of components can be welded, from thermocouples to metal labels.
