The MFD is a mobile welding fume extractor with an integrated fan for regular welding work with an extraction arm or hose. The ultra-flexible extraction arm is equipped with a 360° pivoting hood and a throttle that regulates the air flow at the hood opening. In addition, the MFD has an aluminum spark arrestor and a square cellulose disposable cartridge filter. The cartridge filter is pre-coated to increase service life and optimize filter efficiency. A filter contamination indicator on the control panel indicates when a filter replacement is necessary.
Thanks to the four transport wheels (two of which are swivel castors), the MFD is very suitable for use in relatively small workshops or where there is no fixed location for pollution sources. The extraction arm or hose should be ordered separately

The modular FlexHood extraction hood is built up of separate components. It can be used for several industrial processes, such as (robotic) welding, grinding, cutting and gouging. The extraction hood is placed over the working area and has to be connected to an external extraction/filtration facility. The bottom roof panels work as a deflector plate, directing the airflow to the rims of the hood. The extracted air leaves the hood in the middle through one or two connection flanges mounted on top.The integrated hoisting eyes enable ceiling mounting.The modular extraction hood can obtionally be provided with welding strips, legs and a lighting fixture.

An acceptable noise level without additional piping on the exhaust side of the filter makes it more compact, easier to install and thus increases the possibilities for use. Ram-AirTM reduces operating costs! The MDB-Compact features the Ram-AirTM, a compressed air pulse generator that increases cleaning efficiency. This Ram-AirTM is placed in each filter cartridge and distributes the compressed air energy specifically in the filter. The results are remarkable: cleaner filters, less pressure drop, less compressed air and energy consumption. Ram-AirTM means lower operating costs! The ControlPro is used in the new Plymovent filter control systems. This ControlPro has an intuitive touch screen. The SparkShield provides highly effective removal of sparks and cigarette butts. Besides, it is a very effective in-line pre-separator reducing dust load in the connected filter system. The SparkShield is to be mounted in horizontal position. Its divisible housing enables maintenance without duct disassembly.
The SparkShield comes with a dustbin of 13 and 25 litres. The distance between the spark arrester and dustbin can be enlarged by a duct of Ø 200 mm.

APPLICATIONS
The SparkShield is part of Plymovent’s SHIELD fire safety solutions and recommended to be used in applications with a high fire risk, such as:
• robotic welding of oily stamped products
• robotic and automatic welding of oily products
• manual welding of oily products
• cutting tables
• schools and other areas with risk of cigarette butts

The WallPro Single is a stationary filter unit with a fan. The highly effective filter cartridge is equipped with an integrated RamAir™ pulse amplifier (external compressed air supply) for self-cleaning. Unlike most similar stationary filter units, filter cleaning can also be done offline (fan off), which is much more effective than the usual online (fan on) filter cleaning. WallPro Single is suitable e.g. B. for a connection to a DraftMax Eco extraction table or to the modular extraction hood FlexHood.

The extraction arm can be attached directly to the filter unit ("DM" types) or to an external position ("EM" types).

The MDB Diluter is a free-standing filtration system that prevents welding fume build-up by continuously filtering the polluted air. The system consists of a filter unit, a fan in a sound-absorbing housing, a blow-out unit with adjustable blow-out nozzles and a silencer.
The MDB-Diluter comes with the intelligent control system ControlPro. The fan speed is controlled by a frequency converter.
The filter unit is equipped with a spark arrestor and filter cartridges. The unit includes a RamAir™ pulser for automatic filter cleaning. The filtered dust and dirt particles are collected in the lower dust container.

The DraftMax is a workbench designed for extraction and filtration of welding and grinding applications. The unit includes a work grid, a three-stage pre-filter system for optimal spark capture and two main filter cartridges.

Both the pre-filters and the main filters have pull-out dust trays attached to the underside of the unit. The backdraft kit makes the DraftMax particularly suitable for welding and grinding applications. The side panels can be swivelled so that large workpieces can also be processed.

The extraction table is available in two versions:
