Kobelco Welding of Europe B.V. was established in 1994 under license from Kobe Steel, LTD.

Starting with flux-cored welding wire (FCW) for stainless steel, we produce fluxed-cored welding wire for carbon steel since 2007.

Flux-cored welding wire consists of a steel sheath and flux. Flux composition greatly contributes to the mechanical properties, welding workability and other capabilities of the welding wire.

Owing to outstanding bead shape and appearance, FCW is commonly used in the welding of ships, offshore structures, bridges and other structures.

This has made us one of the largest producers of FCW in Europe. 

Kobelco Welding of Europe B.V. has been pursuing customer satisfaction, thorough activities based on business slogan QTQ (Quality products, Technical support and Quick delivery). 

In 2010, we have opened a sales office in Sweden to cover Scandinavian market.

We have been expanding sales network, by opening sales branch in Italy and Norway.    

Since then, we cover all the European market, including Russia.

 Our wide range of welding consumables covers the entire market for stainless and carbon steel.
