GTV specializes in production of thermal spray and laser surface treatment installations that are tailored to the particular demands of the customer´s workpieces. This includes thermal spray torches or laser cladding heads, control units and required periphery. Besides equipment for conventional flame, arc, plasma & HVOF spraying also heads for laser surface modification (cladding, alloying, dispersing, remelting and hardening) are offered. GTV provides spare parts, powder and wire feedstock, sealers and masking tapes as well as full service for installations including regular maintenance checks, troubleshooting and repair, consultancy, personnel training as well as research and development of adapted solutions for special products (including pre- and / or post treatment).

Specialized GTV laser cladding centers include e.g. automatic control of laser power in order to keep cladding quality constant despite heating up of thin walled components during the cladding process. GTV also offers edge and surface plane detection system with automatic adjustment of cladding head movement to compensate for e.g. distortion or workpiece shrinkage upon cooling from pre-heating temperature. Production efficiency is supported by programming platforms that generate adequate cladding head movement based on NC program transfer from milling machines. GTV also offers development of hybrid coating solutions e.g. consisting of gas tight corrosion protective bond coats and wear protective top coats.
